Place Value Subtraction
Regroup by trading 1 larger block for 10 of the next smaller place.

How this practice works
- Look at each place, starting from the ones. If there are not enough to subtract, regroup.
- With blocks on, drag one block into the next smaller place. A ten becomes 10 ones, a hundred becomes 10 tens, and so on.
- With numbers only, drag a digit to the right. A 7 in the tens becomes a 6, and a 10 drops into the ones.
- You can only trade from a place that has at least 1, and only into the next place to the right.
- Type the difference and check your answer.
